What channel is Jets vs. Steelers on today? Time, TV schedule for NFL Week 4 game

The Steelers and Jets have gotten off to less than ideal starts this season, each dropping two of their first three games. However, both teams were just a few plays away from entering Week 3 in the green, perhaps indicating that there’s more than meets the eye with these AFC sides.

Pittsburgh started the season off with a bang, defeating defending Super Bowl finalist Cincinnati at the death with a 53-yard Chris Boswell buzzer beater. The Steelers proceeded to drop their next two games, scoring just 31 points combined. Mike Tomlin’s offense has some real work to do, as their scoring woes could prove fatal in an unrelenting AFC North slate.

New York, meanwhile, were thoroughly handled by Baltimore during Week 1, but bounced back in a big way in Week 2. Joe Flacco turned back the clock, cutting through Cleveland’s weary defense en route to a ferocious fourth-quarter comeback. Gotham was green, if for a fleeting moment.

Gang Green fell back to earth with a subpar showing during Week 3. But, New York doesn’t look too overmatched, a welcome sign for a team that has struggled to compete at times in recent years. And a victory in Week 4 pulls the Jets back to .500, something many New York fans would’ve taken before the season started.

It may not be the standout matchup of Week 4. But Sunday’s game will play a pivotal role in shaping how these teams approach the coming few weeks. A win and things are looking fairly bright. A loss? Well, 1-3 isn’t quite a death knell. But it certainly is an obstacle, one both sides (and their fanbases) would rather avoid.
