Devin Haney vs. Regis Prograis full card results, schedule for 2023 boxing fight

As fights go, they don’t come much bigger than Devin Haney vs. Regis Prograis. The pair will collide for the latter’s WBC super lightweight title at the Chase Center in San Francisco on December 9.

Haney (30-0, 15 KOs) is the A-side despite being the challenger. The former undisputed lightweight champion is a fixture on most pound-for-pound lists and has posted wins over George Kambosos Jr. and the great former champion Vasiliy Lomachenko.

“This is a dream come true, bringing a big event back to the Bay Area,” said Haney, who was born in San Francisco. “It’s gonna be a great night for me and my team. I’m going in there to hurt [Prograis], dismantle him, and show him that I’m on a different level.”

Prograis (29-1, 24 KOs) is a two-time world champion at 140 pounds and an elite-level fighter. The New Orleans-born champion is also the bigger puncher of the two and has scored signature wins over Kiryl Relikh and Jose Zepeda.

“I’m better than [Haney] all around,” countered Prograis. “They say all I’ve got is knockout power, but what about the speed? You don’t think I’ve got speed? You don’t think I’ve got skill? Come on, bro! This is the fight to take me to superstardom and I’m gonna shine.”
