Dolphins vs. Titans live score, updates, highlights from NFL 'Monday Night Football' game

The Dolphins gave up an arm and a leg — not to mention five draft picks — to acquire Tyreek Hill’s services in the spring of 2022. It’s turning out to be one of the biggest heists in recent NFL history.

Cheetah is a menace for opposition defenses, trekking through the mire with elegance, precision and, more than anything else, game-changing speed. He’s reached new heights alongside Tua Tagovailoa in Vice City, transitioning from elite do-it-all receiver to all-time great with relative ease. His trophy cabinet is filled with gold. And yet, with a shade under 1,500 receiving yards in 12 games, it seems like another award could be on the horizon: MVP.

Hill very well could miss out on the award. It’s been a quarterback-exclusive recognition in recent seasons, so much so that game managers like Brock Purdy have usurped some of the league’s best talents to climb atop the league’s MVP ladder.

That doesn’t mean he doesn’t deserve it, though. Hill is on pace to shatter the record for most receiving yards in a single campaign. In the process, he might break the 2,000-yard plateau. If that isn’t enough to pick up the NFL’s greatest honor, I don’t know what is.

The Titans — slated to take on the Fins in a special edition of “Monday Night Football” —are most certainly aware of Hill’s brilliance. Stopping it, though, is an entirely different proposition. Miami has a cadre of weapons to consider, from Raheem Mostert and De’Von Achane to Jaylen Waddle and Tua. But no player proves more menacing than Hill, a marvel even among the Adonises that pockmark American football’s premier competition. If Tennessee doesn’t watch out, things could get ugly early out in South Beach.

Dolphins vs. Titans live updates, highlights from ‘Monday Night Football’

(All times Eastern)

10:10 p.m.: FIELD GOAL! Sanders knots things up with a chip shot.

Titans 10, Dolphins 10

10:08 p.m.: Murphy-Bunting is the man to look out for today. Just denied Wilson a chance to field a tuddy on the fade. Looks like Miami will bring the kick team out.

10:00 p.m.: Hasn’t been too bad of a drive for the Dolphins to open up the third quarter. Tagoivaloa has targeted hulking target Cedrick Wilson Jr. on three separate occasions to start the frame. All three have resulted in positive plays: Wilson made catches of eight and 22 yards, respectively, before coaxing Murphy-Bunting into a pass interference foul that brings Miami on the brink of the end zone.

End of second quarter: Titans 10, Dolphins 7

9:42 p.m.: FIELD GOAL! Howard shuts down Hopkins in their final few matchups before the end of the second quarter, leading to a Folk freebie from short-range. Tennessee is going to enter halftime with a three-point lead. And the Dolphins offense is yet to have really breached the Titans’ defense so far.

9:40 p.m.: Hopkins does it again! Just outpaces Xavien Howard before reeling in another Levis dot. He might have gotten away with an offensive pass interference. But  it went unnoticed. And that could give the Titans a late lead at the end of the first half.

9:34 p.m.: Levis leading the Titans down the meadow once more. And he just delivered an elite throw to DeAndre Hopkins, overcoming a big hit from Bradley Chubb to sling a 24-yard arrow to the future Hall-of-Famer. 14 seconds left in the half. But Tennessee is flying.

9:31 p.m.: Tagovailoa has been poor in Hill’s absence. With the All-Pro starter on the mend, it feels like the Fins haven’t been able to make things happen. A bit of miscommunication on a toss to Waddle coupled with a misthrow on third-and-seven prompts yet another punt by Jake Bailey.

9:21 p.m.: BLOCKED FIELD GOAL! Titans get their mitts on Jason Sanders’ field goal attempt, sending it spiraling before it reaches the target! Just been that kind of game for the Fins so far.

9:14 p.m.: Tagovailoa scampers down the field to move the chains on third down. Been a bit of an awkward showing for the talented thrower, who has just 75 yards so far. But maybe that will get him going.

9:05 p.m.: TOUCHDOWN! The Titans find the promised land after Derrick Henry romps through the fog of bodies converging at the goal line! The score capped off a sumptuous drive for Tennessee, which moved the ball down the field with relative ease all the while keeping that explosive Miami offense off the turf. 14 plays, 86 yards and 7:13 of total offense in one possession. Doesn’t get much better than that.

Dolphins 7, Titans 7

8:47 p.m.: Hill is down after appearing to take a horse-collar tackle from Sean Murphy-Bunting as he trotted towards the sideline. He’s clutching his knee as he writhes in pain. You could hear a pin drop at Hard Rock Stadium as he went down. He charged off the field with vigor. But it’s hard to tell quite what the severity of his ailment is. Didn’t look like a great tackle, however.

8:35 p.m.: TOUCHDOWN! That’s one way to flip the game script on its head! Zach Sieler plucks Levis’ effort out the sky and returns it to the crib to open the scoring for the Fins. Gotta love a big man TD to get things started!

Dolphins 7, Titans 0

8:33 p.m.: FUMBLE! Tagovailoa loses track of the pigskin as he drops back and leaves it twirling on the pitch. A Titans defender picks it up, putting the kibosh on a promising Dolphins drive that featured impressive gains by Hill and Waddle, among others.

8:08 p.m.: Both teams streaming out onto the field. The Dolphins are looking to keep their undefeated home record alive. Given the way they’ve been playing in recent weeks, they certainly have a good shot at doing so.

7:39 p.m.: It’s almost time. Dolphins vs. Titans under the lights, coming up in about 25 minutes on ESPN!

7:28 p.m.: Titans out on the field ahead of tonight’s matchup. Will Levis will hope to put on an impressive display in one of the sport’s biggest stages: Monday Night Football.

7:16 p.m.: It doesn’t get much more threatening than these two. The Titans will have their hands full for this one:
