10:01 p.m.: Now things are going back and forth in the Mile High City.
After two free throws from Rudy Gobert gave Minnesota a five-point advantage, Nikola Jokic hit a huge 3 to cut the deficit back to two.
The Wolves lead by two points with under eight minutes to go.

9:55 p.m.: 12 seconds into the fourth frame, Rudy Gobert gives Minnesota the lead with a finish through contact but he can’t get the free throw to go.

9:51 p.m.: The Timberwolves close the third quarter on a 28-9 run to cut the deficit to one ahead of the fourth quarter.

Anthony Edwards may have found his groove as he drained a triple in the final seconds of the third quarter. Edwards has 13 points on 5-of-16 shooting but that goes out the window as he has one quarter to add to the legend he’s already built during these playoffs.

Denver’s offense stagnated in the third quarter as it scored just 14 points. Nikola Jokic is up to 20 points, 17 rebounds and five assists while Jamal Murray’s got 29 points, three assists and a rebound. No other Nuggets player has more than five points.
12 minutes could decide who advances to the Western Conference Finals, though this game could go even further.
9:44 p.m.: Minnesota is chipping away.
Despite trailing by as many as 20 points, the Timberwolves are now within four points after a Nikola Jokic turnover led to a breakaway dunk for the struggling Anthony Edwards.
Edwards has eight points on 3-of-13 shooting while Denver has missed 10 of its last 11 shots.

In what should be a welcomed sight for Wolves fans, Anthony Edwards gets a field goal to go to cut the deficit to 12. Edwards has been thrown off of his rhythm in this one and has just six points on 2-of-10 shooting.
For Denver, Jamal Murray is up to 29 points on 50.0 percent shooting in 26 minutes of action. Timeout with 7:24 remaining in the third.

9:06 p.m.: Denver used a crucial swing at the end of the half to take a 15-point lead into the locker room.
The Nuggets’ first-half efforts have been fueled by Jamal Murray, who’s got 24 points on 8-of-15 shooting and Nikola Jokic, who has 13 points, 15 rebounds and five assists.
Denver’s stars are showing up in a major way and its defense has stifled Minnesota.
Anthony Edwards has four points on 1-of-7 shooting and as a team, the Timberwolves are shooting 12 of 38 (31.6 percent) from the field. Karl-Anthony Towns has been the offense’s brightest spot with 13 points on 5-of-6 shooting.
No team has come back from a halftime deficit of 15-plus points in Game 7. Minnesota will be going against history and Denver in the second half.

8:36 p.m.: The Nuggets have picked up right where they left off to open the second frame.
Denver’s lead is up to double digits after a quick 6-0 run through the first 2:10 of the quarter. The Wolves now face an 11-point deficit and call for a timeout before this game gets away from them.

With Murray getting hot to close the quarter, Denver closed the quarter on a 19-7 run to take a five-point into the second frame. This game already feels like the heavyweight battle it was projected to be.

8:23 p.m.: The defensive battle continues but Denver has responded to Minnesota’s first blow.
A turnaround jumper from Jamal Murray gives him seven early points and cuts the Nuggets deficit to one point. Murray and Jokic (six points) have all but three of Denver’s points.
Jaden McDaniels leads the way for the Wolves with five points early on. Anthony Edwards has just two points but is already up to three assists.
